Mixed media canvas | Alcohol ink background

Hello crafty friends,

Today I would like to share with you mixed media canvas, but this time with alcohol ink background, not gesso or magic powder as I usually do!

Here are the steps

1- I made a galaxy background on primer canvas using alcohol inks and blending solution. If you do not have a blending solution you can use regular alcohol.

2-I die cut stars and crescent using silver metallic paper. I adhered them to the canvas using gel medium.

3- I decorated the ceramic houses by stamping floral images from Art stamp using Versa fine ink and added Nuvo drops to embellish each center of the flower.

4- I adhered a yellow cardstock in the back of the houses to give me the impression of the light.

5- I added tissue papers in the bottom of the canvas to give some texture and dimension.

6- Finally, I adhered the house to the canvas using 3D gel by Prima or you can use a glue gun.
